I'm 37 today. For some reason, I don't want to be. There are some years where my birthday age really doesn't make a difference but......... I'm 37. haha But thanks to my family and great friends, the day is turning out great, as always. After an EARLY morning phone call from Bebe Brother (we share this day with each other although is been ages since we spent it together), I got to school to find emails from my parents, my older sister and my oldest niece. So cute. There were also several emails from the great friends. My long time friend, Steph, started out the morning texts bright and early, as well. Then came my younger sister, who we just found out is going to be giving me another niece or nephew in the fall! And then more love from Ali and Derek and, yes, even Jaycee. :) Thank you all! My cute 3rd period found out it was my birthday somehow and sang to me as the bell rang. My fun friends at school have brought me Jamba oatmeal for breakfast and presents of wintergreen lifesavers (my favorite), and chocolate with bacon pieces in it. No lie. Another post will come about that later.
My darling niece sent me this card by email this morning. I've set it as my background on my computer here at school. She is my biggest cheerleader (self proclaimed) for our school's biggest loser competition.

And finally my "famous" birthday cake. Yes, I'm 37 and I have a merry go round cake. I can only remember 3 years in my life that this hasn't been the decor for my cake. One year my mom changed it and I think I was bitter about it. Maybe she thought I had outgrown it? And then the other two years they were serving their mission so I guess that's legit.

I decided to throw my own party tonight. Its too hard to get together with so many different friends or "reserve a table for 20." So I just invited everyone to my house for cake and ice cream. I do have some of the best friends a girl could ask for.
